Job DescriptionOnboarding support
Support the administrative process of onboarding new joiners, helping ensure the Wiser journey is as smooth as possible with everyone involved kept in the loop
Coordinate adaptable onboarding plans in partnership with hiring Leads, and support future changes that align to Wise’s way of working
Support the relocation process for new joiners, helping ensure logistics and documentation requirements are handled smoothly
Participate with other members of our wider People team in facilitating new joiner engagement & networking
Support running local onboarding sessions, sharing relevant new joiner information for that first week (e.g. joiners, benefits, etc)
Wiser support
Support the People team’s ticketing desk with a one-team mentality by responding to queries in an efficient and customer-centric way
Provide first-line guidance to Wisers on leave policies, supporting a strong end-to-end experience
Support internal transfers and relocation requests, ensuring onboarding and offboarding actions are completed
Support processing Workday actions in relation to the Wiser lifecycle
Help ensure operational onboarding and offboarding steps are completed, working closely with Workplace, User Technology and People Services teams to keep processes running smoothly
Maintain team content on Confluence, ensuring information to Wisers is transparent, convenient, easy to remember and updated, thinking globally as well as locally for process efficiency, alignment and speed
Support the Payroll team with documentation and/or information needed to process changes (joiners, benefits, leavers, etc)
Produce standard employment documentation (e.g. reference letters, contract changes, etc) with support and guidance from the team
Research, process enhancement & documentation
Conduct research and gather feedback from stakeholders (e.g. new joiners, hiring leads, People team) to identify friction points and improvement opportunities across the Wiser lifecycle
Support process enhancement work by mapping current workflows, proposing improvements, and helping implement updates to improve clarity, speed and consistency
Create and maintain clear documentation (SOPs, checklists, templates) for recurring processes and knowledge sharing
Track and report basic operational metrics (e.g. ticket themes, onboarding volumes, turnaround times) to support continuous improvement
Innovation + automation
Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks through automation (e.g. templates, workflows, Workday/Confluence enablement, ticketing macros), partnering with the team to test and roll out improvements
Support standardisation of forms, communication and trackers to reduce manual work and improve the Wiser experience
Contribute ideas for improving tooling, self-serve guidance and ways of working across the People operations journey
Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension or conversion into a permanent role based on individual performance, business needs, and headcount availability.
QualificationsEducation & Graduation
• Graduation Year: Recent graduates from the 2025 or 2026 batch.
• Degree Backgrounds: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (but not limited to):
Human Resources Management / Business Administration (BBA, MBA, BMS)
Social Sciences / Psychology / Organisational Behaviour/ English Literature / History / Commerce / Information Technology (or related fields with a strong passion for People Operations and HR Tech)
Key Skills & Attributes
- Customer-Centric and Problem-solving Mindset: Empathetic, approachable, and proactive communication skills to deliver a seamless experience for new joiners and existing employees
- Process & Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning HR systems (like Workday), documentation tools (like Confluence), and ticketing systems; an interest in using basic automation, templates, or AI tools to streamline repetitive work is a huge plus.
- Detail & Organisation: Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail when handling employment contracts, payroll support data, and compliance documents.
- Adaptability & Collaboration: Thrives in a fast-paced, global environment with a strong "one-team" collaborative spirit.
Benefits
- Salary: INR ~500,000 INR/year, prorated as per the contractual agreement

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
