About The Job
TeePublic is looking for a talented People Operations Coordinator to join its growing team. Reporting directly to our Senior People Business Partner, you will assist with day-to-day people operations, including payroll, 401k, and benefits administration, as well as serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. You will collaborate with the small but mighty People Team to develop and implement processes and policies that enhance the employee experience at TeePublic. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and flexibility
Responsibilities
- Assist with semi-monthly payroll and 401k processing.
- Support benefits and perks administration, employment verifications, workers’ compensation, and leave of absence paperwork.
- Be the point of contact for employees for questions on benefits, perks, and other company policies.
- Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to schedule interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support the on and offboarding processes, including scheduling new hire orientations, updating internal employee data files and I-9 verifications, adding new employees to systems, and terminating employees.
- Manage all monthly reporting and annual audits with support from People Business Partners.
- Update and maintain employee information within our HRIS and other trackers/systems, ensuring complete accuracy at all times.
- Support team with projects as needed.
Requirements
- A strong interest in growing your career in the field of HR.
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or People Ops support role.
- Organized with exceptional project management skills.
- Detail-oriented, multitasker, and possesses excellent follow-through skills.
- Values data and understands its significance in decision-making.
- Process-oriented, enjoys creating processes and structures.
- Independent worker with strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Approachable with a customer service mindset, positioning yourself as the team’s “go-to” person.
In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York is $50,000 - $65,000 at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
