Who You Are

We are looking for a hungry and mission-driven Recruiter that will work closely with hiring managers to develop strategies to find and coordinate candidates for Ontic’s open roles (both technical and non-technical) a play a key role as we continue to grow. Our team is passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience which starts with the first conversation a candidate has with us. We a seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about recruiting and human resources and will be responsible for helping to build a talented and diverse pipeline across the organization as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles.
- Source and engage candidates using innovative strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of diverse talent.
- Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a world-class candidate experience through empathetic and clear communication.
- Manage candidate databases and hiring workflows via ATS tools, creating reports and dashboard to support hiring decisions.
- Support DEI initiatives by incorporating inclusive hiring practices.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared to succeed.
- Identify employee training needs and support the development and delivery of impactful learning programs.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of onboarding and training initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Organize and execute employee engagement activities, including surveys, team-building events, and all-hands meetings.
- Analyse insights from onboarding and exit surveys, attrition data, and employee feedback to improve engagement strategies.
- Partner with leaders to design and implement initiatives that foster collaboration, connection, and a strong sense of community.
- Support the execution of core HR processes, such as payroll inputs, compliance, and employee records management.
- Develop dashboards and track HR metrics to inform decision-making and optimize processes.
- Ensure smooth internal communication and coordination of HR activities across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 1–3 years in HR or people operations, preferably in a SaaS or startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to source and recruit for technical and non-technical roles, with proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in HR analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a solutions-oriented approach
- Enthusiastic about fostering a people-first culture and committed to delivering an exceptional employee experience.
- Strong collaborative skills to work cross-functionally with hiring teams.
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check / edit.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and strong sense of accountability and urgency.
- A solutions mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
