We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Assistant to join our Hong Kong office. Acting as an extension of the HR Operations team in Manchester, this role will be a first point of contact for HR-related queries and provide administrative support to the Asia HR team across the employee lifecycle.
What you will doSupport HR processes including onboarding, pre-employment checks, appraisals, performance management, salary and bonus review, secondments, transfers and leaver arrangements.
Manage employment visa applications and extensions.
Maintain accurate employee information in Workday and other HR filing systems.
Assist with HR reporting, process improvements and HR projects.
Support the Senior Manager of Inclusion & Responsible Business in Asia with reporting, research and administration relating to events and seminars.
Learn and implement AI tools to help deliver efficient HR support.
Bachelor’s degree holder with at least two years of experience in office management, HR administration or secretarial support, preferably in a professional services firm or multinational corporation.
Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese or Putonghua language skills would be an advantage.
Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office, databases and HR systems.
Collaborative, proactive and client-service focused, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
