About the Role
Reporting to the People Experience Lead, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and partnering closely with the site-based People Lead, we have an exciting opportunity for a People Experience Lead to join our iconic Cadbury manufacturing site in Claremont. This critical role requires a true partner for the site. With a focus on employee experience and a passion for providing outstanding HR advice and delivery, you will apply a continuous improvement perspective to the end-to-end operational HR services both at the Claremont plant and as a leader across the broader MSC operations in Australia.
The People Experience Lead, MSC, is the key point of contact for operational HR advice and where self-service or central shared services support is not available. You also play a key role within the Japan, Australia and NZ (JANZ) business unit People Services squad and the broader manufacturing and supply chain People Services community.
How you will contribute:
In this highly visible, site-based role, you will:
- Lead the implementation of local projects and initiatives relating to essential human resources service delivery.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a team of MSC People Experience Advisors, ensuring consistent service levels are maintained.
- Provide support and advice across a range of employee relations topics, including managing investigations and leveraging the broader People Service team to resolve employee queries.
- Support the delivery of enterprise bargaining for the plants.
- Identify opportunities and deliver programs to improve employee and leadership capabilities.
- Coach leaders and employees in Workday self-serve adoption.
- Support employee engagement initiatives via a range of plans and actions and deliver local training programs (e.g. capability development and IL6S).
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities for our core manufacturing workforce.
What you will bring:
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- A relevant degree in HR or business, or a combination of equivalent skills and experience, is highly regarded.
- HR Generalist with experience in a fast-paced environment. Applicants with previous FMCG/CPG experience will be highly regarded.
- Experience with employee relations and enterprise bargaining is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience with Workday HRIS is advantageous.
- A team player attitude with the ability and desire to influence and drive change across a diverse workforce.
- The ability to work full-time in a plant-based role with a majority of work time on site.
