Job DescriptionAre you an experienced People & Culture Manager (m/f/d) who enjoys working across the full range of People & Culture topics? For our entity in Ústí nad Labem with around 70 employees, we are looking for a hands-on People & Culture professional who will lead all local People & Culture activities, act as the trusted local point of contact for employees and leaders, ensure compliant people processes, and work closely with our global People & Culture organization.
As part of the global BEUMER Group People & Culture community, you will collaborate with P&C colleagues worldwide, contribute to global initiatives, and support the continuous development of a professional and high-quality global P&C function.
In this role, you will report locally and have a dotted reporting line to our Global P&C Director based in Germany.
- Full-scope People & Culture support: Lead and cover the full range of local P&C topics for the entity, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, people development, performance processes, policy guidance, and offboarding.
- P&C operations and reporting: Maintain accurate employee data and documentation, prepare employment-related documents, and provide monthly reporting on relevant People & Culture statistics.
- Compliance and labour law: Ensure compliance with applicable labour law, internal policies, data protection requirements, and corporate compliance standards. Own local compliance activities within the People & Culture function, deliver compliance training for employees and leaders, monitor adherence to relevant requirements, and advise leaders on compliant people-related decisions.
- Recruitment and talent development: Manage local recruitment activities, support workforce planning, and contribute to talent, development, succession, and performance processes in close collaboration with local leaders and the global P&C team.
- Learning and employee development: Identify local training needs, coordinate learning activities, and support initiatives that strengthen employee skills, leadership capability, and a culture of continuous development.
- Global People & Culture collaboration: Actively contribute to global People & Culture initiatives, exchange best practices across the global P&C network, and ensure alignment with BEUMER Group standards through close collaboration with the Global P&C Director in Germany and the wider P&C network.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field
- Sound knowledge of Czech labour law, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements
- Several years of experience in a broad People & Culture or HR generalist role, ideally in an international company
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance processes, and employee development
- Ability to advise leaders and employees confidently on People & Culture policies, processes, and compliant decision-making
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage operational topics independently in a small local entity
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and balance operational execution with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively with both local stakeholders and global P&C colleagues
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
