Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with product managers and business teams to define and refine product backlogs.
Design and develop Pega BPM applications following Pega Infinity guidelines and proven design patterns.
Write/review acceptance criteria, test cases, and ensure functional/technical quality.
Govern and review product builds, ensuring reusability, scalability, and compliance.
Mentor and guide engineering teams, ensuring adherence to Pega guardrails.
Support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and deliver solutions for critical business problems.
Provide Tier-2 application support including triage, debugging, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee citizen developer configurations via App/Dev Studio.
Participate in demos and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
6–8 years of application development and delivery experience with Pega.
At least 4+ years as a Pega Certified System Architect (SSA) or CSSA (v8.x / Infinity 23/24 preferred).
Strong hands-on expertise with Data Pages, Data Flows, Flows, Flow Actions, Views, Activities, SLA, Connectors, Service Rules.
Experience in designing and developing case management, UI, authentication & authorization features.
Familiarity with Pega DX-APIs, Constellation UI, App Studio OOTB capabilities.
Experience with integrations (SOAP, REST, Kafka, JMS, MQ, Data Flow) and exception handling.
Exposure to debugging and performance optimization using Admin Studio, PDC/AES.
Knowledge of RDBMS such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora DB.
Strong understanding of BPM concepts, Agile methodologies, and SDLC practices.
Good to Have:
Pega LSA or advanced certification.
Knowledge of Process AI, Decisioning, and Process Mining.
Experience with Pega GenAI capabilities like Blueprint.
Familiarity with Pega Test Automation Kit and Deployment Manager.
Experience with AWS or .NET integration.
Education:
UG: Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science
PG: Any discipline
