The Application Development Senior Manager (C13) will lead and manage a team of application developers, ensuring the successful design, development, implementation, and support of high-volume, real-time applications. This role requires a strong technical leader with deep expertise in PEGA, capable of driving end-to-end application lifecycle management from initial design through to post-production support. The Senior Manager will be responsible for fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team, aligning development efforts with business objectives and architectural standards
- Solid understanding and experience with PEGA deployment pipelines and application performance tuning.
- Well-versed in UNIX/Linux environments and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with real-time integration patterns (e.g., Kafka, messaging queues, APIs).
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and GEN AI solutions.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in application development, with at least 3- 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Demonstrable experience managing teams with PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) certified staff.
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and supporting high-volume, real-time applications.
- Extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Experience as Applications Development Manager
- Stakeholder and people management experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven project management skills
- Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Strong hands-on expertise in PEGA platform (including PEGA 24/25 and PEGA 8.8.X), with relevant certifications (LSA or equivalent experience).
