Job Posting Description
As part of PDT DD&T BOTT Core Team at Takeda, the overall responsibility is to improve the speed, quality, and scale of delivery teams while ensuring the seamless transition of product teams from vendor partners to Takeda Innovation Capability Services (ICS).
Key responsibilities include two parts 1) continuous improvement of delivery team and 2) build-out the ICC PDT Circle in Bangalore, India.

  • Improvement of SDLC: Continuously improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes performance and accelerate the development and deployment of products.
  • Optimization of Delivery: Utilize Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency in the delivery process.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive three-year plan (FY 2024 - FY 2026) to transition PDT DD&T products to ICS under the defined PDT DD&T BOTT model.
  • Integration Management: Ensure minimal disruption to business operations by integrating these products efficiently into existing systems and processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Advocacy: Engage with executive stakeholders to clearly communicate the strategy, serving as a champion for its successful implementation.

Process Improvement

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes, such as Agile, DevOps, or waterfall, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Standardization: Establish and enforce standardized development practices, coding guidelines, and quality assurance standards.
  • Automation: Promote the use of automation tools and GenAI to streamline development and testing processes, reducing manual effort, and increasing efficiency.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Experience with offshoring in India; demonstrate sensitivity to and understand cultural differences, effectively manage and motivate a team from diverse backgrounds
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience in data, digital and technology roles, with at least 5 years of leadership and management experience, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proven track record of delivering technology solutions for complex and large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge and skills in data management, analytics, cloud computing, web development, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • A strategic and innovative mindset, with the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing business and digital needs
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. International travel will be required.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
205,100.00 - 322,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
