Project & Development Services - MENA 

JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Assistant to join the Engineer’s team on one of the most iconic residential and luxury summer projects in the region. In this role, you will assist in overseeing contractor submissions, verifying actual progress vs reported updates, and supporting the Engineer’s independent assessments for claims, extensions of time (EOT), and monthly valuations.

What this job involves
  • Support in reviewing and commenting on the Contractor’s baseline and revised programs using Primavera P6.

  • Assist in verifying the Determination of progress claims, cost reports, and time impact analysis (TIA) submitted by the Contractor.

  • Prepare independent tracking logs for delays, variations, manpower, and material delivery issues.

  • Generate and update weekly/monthly reports, dashboards, and schedule snapshots for the Engineer.

  • Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor, and Contract Specialist in formal assessments.

  • Ensure documentation meets audit-quality standards and supports the Engineer’s recommendations to the Employer.

Desired skills & experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience in project control, planning, contract administration, delay analysis—preferably on Engineer/Consultant side.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts is a strong plus.

  • Background in Back-Office PM Companies is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with Delay Analysis standards including AACE R29.03, SCL protocol,  is a strong plus.

  • Professional Certificates including CLAC, and related planning and Delay Analysis is strongly plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with attention to contractual and technical details.
