The PCN Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing customer communication related to all major Product and Process Change Notifications (PCNs) across onsemi. The role ensures that product change communications are timely, compliant with industry standards, and aligned with customer expectations. This position plays a critical role in driving cross-functional coordination, governance, and continuous improvement of the Product Change Management process on a global scale.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage customer communication for all major product and process changes across the company.
- Lead and facilitate the cross‑functional review board responsible for reviewing, prioritizing, and approving company‑wide PCNs.
- Collaborate closely with Business Units, Customer Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and effective customer notifications.
- Ensure Product Change Management processes comply with applicable industry standards (J‑STD‑46, J‑STD‑48, ZVEI) and internal quality system requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing PCN‑related data, trends, and performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.
- Demonstrate strong program management by coordinating complex, cross‑functional initiatives, managing priorities, timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Provide operational coverage and coordination across multiple time zones (US, Europe, Asia) to support global stakeholders.
- Support limited business travel to onsemi sites as required (approximately 10%).
A. Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
B. Experience
- Several years of combined experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and/or Quality Systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing programs at scale, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
