As the Implementation Specialist II, you will deliver investment management services for Private Wealth Management. This position is primarily focused on actively transitioning investment portfolios.
How you’ll spend your time:
- Support new business development efforts of our Wealth Advisors.
- Implement the investment policy within portfolios for which UMB has investment responsibility and communicate this policy to Practice Teams.
- Increase Assets under Management (AUM) and revenue by conveying the UMB investment process and policies to help the Wealth Advisor complete the sale of investment services.
- Contribute to required Investment Compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policy, operational policy, and regulatory guidance.
- Ensure all minimum standards of care are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
We’re excited to talk to you if:
- You possess a college degree or relevant equivalent experience.
- You have 3 years’ experience in Investment Management, Financial Planning or Brokerage that includes communicating complex and detailed information related to investment management process and portfolio construction.
- You demonstrate effective communication skills (verbal, written, listening, presentation).
- You show trust, investment, and trading knowledge of portfolio modeling, platforms, policies and procedures, state and federal laws/regulations.
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build relationships internally, as well as externally.
Bonus points if:
- You hold one of the following credentials: MBA, CFA, CFP, CPA, or JD.
- You have direct experience managing and rebalancing individual portfolios through a multi-asset class investment strategy.
Compensation Range:
Minimum: $69,230.00 - Maximum: $179,300.00
