This Position reports to:
Team Leader Product Engineer
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive technology, software, product, and/or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in Medium Voltage Drives. You will be managing the entire lifecycle of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) for ACS8080 drive. This role ensures robust testing strategies, drives design and reliability improvements, manages component obsolescence, and serves as the technical interface between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power / Medium Voltage Drives in Aleksandrow Lodzki, Poland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Testing Strategy: Own the FCT (functional circuit testing) roadmap; implement and maintain ICT, AOI, and FCT systems at the EMS site; monitor the test coverage and yield.
- Quality: Provide overview, defects and performance indicators from the internal manufacturing process, final testing and field returns.
- Reliability & RCA: Lead the RCA (root-cause analysis) process; define reliability test plans; collaborate with EMS partners, PCBA Process and Manufacturing Engineers for appropriate corrective actions.
- Design Changes: Drive design modifications based on the RCA results, EOL (end of life) components and cost.
- ECN Management: Prepare and track engineering change notices; ensure documentation and version control.
- AVL Management: Maintain approved vendor list; evaluate suppliers; manage component lifecycle and obsolescence risks.
- Stakeholder Interface: Act as technical point of contact for NPI/Process engineers, product design and supply chain teams.
Qualifications for the role
- M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in PCBA lifecycle management, testing strategies, and reliability engineering.
- Ability to read electrical, electronic and mechanical schematics and drawings, standards and technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of ECN processes and compliance standards (IPC610).
- Familiarity with AVL management and component lifecycle planning.
- Fluency in English at technical level.
