Payroll Processing Support
- Prepare and audit payroll data for multi-state payroll processing.
- Review employee timecards for accuracy and completeness prior to payroll submission.
- Enter payroll adjustments including bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, and corrections.
- Assist with payroll preview reports and reconciliation prior to payroll finalization.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit compliance.
Time & Attendance Administration
- Support timekeeping system administration and assist managers with timecard corrections.
- Monitor missing punches, overtime approvals, and time reporting discrepancies.
- Partner with managers to ensure timely submission of timesheets each payroll cycle.
Payroll Data Management
- Maintain employee payroll records including pay rates, tax elections, deductions, and direct deposit information.
- Process employee payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments.
- Assist with payroll imports and integrations within Paylocity.
Employee Payroll Support
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries regarding pay statements, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Assist employees with direct deposit changes and payroll self-service questions.
- Provide timely and professional support to employees regarding payroll-related concerns.
Compliance & Reporting
- Assist with payroll reporting and data requests for HR and Finance.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and audits.
Payroll Process Support
- Maintain payroll processing checklists and documentation.
- Support payroll process improvements and system updates.
- Assist with payroll data validation and reconciliation during acquisitions or integrations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state payroll
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
