In this role you will be responsible for supporting timely and accurate delivery of payroll calculations for designated Service Line(s) in compliance with local laws. You will do calculations of all mandatory deductions within required deadlines. You will ensure payroll system is updated on time and in an accurate manner to ensure correct payroll calculations. You will also respond to simple payroll related queries submitted by employees.
- Extensive experience in calculating payroll
- Understanding of how payroll systems work
- Demonstrated highest standards (accuracy, timeliness to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations)
- Ability to collaboratively work within a team to deliver clear results
- Solid verbal and written communication skills required including business writing skills in English while interacting with employees and business partners on simple payroll related queries are essential
- Demonstrated interest and ambition to grow in the payroll profession
- Ability to articulate and communicate with clients in a concise and professional manner
- Ability to propose solution to problems
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Verifying employee timesheets and calculating salaries for full-time employees and contractors.
- Including bonuses, allowances, deductions, sick leaves, and absences.
- HR & Payroll Systems Support:
- Updating payroll data in the Enova system.
- Generating payroll reports and summaries.
- Tax and Social Security Settlements:
- Preparing and submitting declarations to ZUS, PIT, PFRON, and PPK.
- Ensuring accuracy of tax and contribution settlements.
- HR Process Support:
- Managing employee registrations and de-registrations in social insurance.
- Preparing employment certificates.
- Checking HR data accuracy impacting payroll.
- Employee Support:
- Providing information on salaries, deductions, and pay components.
- Preparing and issuing income statements.
- Audits and Inspections:
- Preparing documentation and reports for internal audits and inspections by ZUS, PIP, and tax authorities.
- Regulation Monitoring:
- Keeping up to date with changes in labor law, social insurance, and tax regulations.
- Suggesting updates and adjustments based on current legal requirements.
- Payroll Process Optimization:
- Participating in projects to improve payroll operations.
- Implementing automation and best practices in salary calculations.
