We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with a service-minded work ethic to support our Marmon Keystone U.S. team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of payroll tasks, provide service support to business units, and participate in related projects. Reporting jointly to Finance and Human Resources, this is a highly visible and essential role within the organization.
This role is a full-time, hybrid position and can be based at our Butler, PA, Norcross, GA or Bolingbrook, IL offices. Some travel may be required depending on business needs and will be communicated in advance.

What You'll Do:

• Process payroll timely and accurately, including special payroll runs
• Preparing and issuing weekly and monthly benefit and retirement reports
• Direct and support the activities of business units’ payroll activities
• Serve as the point of contact to support business units’ payroll practitioners
• Stay current with federal and state payroll legislation and regulations
• Serve as a liaison between ADP and Workday data bridge process, including data validation
• Serve as a liaison between payroll and our internal retirement team to support inquiries around deductions
• Special projects and process automation as directed by Company, Group and Marmon leadership
• Collaborate with Marmon corporate Payroll professionals on payroll events, initiatives and best practices

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Workday, preferably in a multi-location environment. Experience with California payroll desired
• PayrollOrg, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) minimum a plus
• ADP custom reporting, time attendance and Smart Compliance experience a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office user, focused on Excel (Intermediate to advanced knowledge a must)
• Passion for payroll, collaboration, learning, process improvements, and technology
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and helping others
• A “roll up your sleeves” attitude and willingness to do the day-to-day work
