What you’ll do

• Payroll Processing: Assist in end-to-end payroll processing; Maintain and validate payroll inputs (starters, leavers, changes); Support processing of multiple pay frequencies; Perform pre-payroll validation checks; Ensure correct application of statutory payments; Validate Time and Attendance inputs for accurate payroll processing.
• Compliance & Reporting: Support local internal and external tax compliance and regulatory teams; Assist with year-end activities; Ensure GDPR compliance; Escalate compliance risks; Compliance to external legislation, internal Finance and HR policies and procedures.
• Audit & Controls: Perform reconciliation checks; Support audit requirements; Maintain audit trails; Identify discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Support: Respond to payroll queries; Support HR and Finance reporting; Liaise with payroll providers; Escalate complex issues.
• Systems & Improvement: Maintain payroll records; Ongoing system maintenance as applicable; Follow standard processes; Support the use of Time and Attendance systems.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

• Diploma or certificate in Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 
• Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience with strong understanding of Payroll and HR processes.
• Proven experience in wage payroll processing and administration.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices. 
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Experience working in a fast-moving change environment and supporting change delivery. 
• Strong issue-solving capabilities and ability to work to deadlines.
