Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:This position is accountable for preparing and processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner. This includes audits of pay practices and policies, reconciliation and payment of payroll tax liabilities and various voluntary deductions and preparing manual checks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)

Work Experience

• Minimum two (2) years Computerized payroll experience (required)
• Minimum one (1) year Healthcare payroll (preferred)
• Minimum one (1) year With quarterly 941's and W-2 processing (preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Computer Skills 10-key by touch.
  Experience with ERP/Payroll systems.
• Computer Skills Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and time and attendance systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Details

• Initial orientation will be on site but then will transition to hybrid with some on site days and some work from home days.
