Excellium, a leading provider of payroll outsourcing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to our diverse client base, ensuring their employees receive their pay accurately and on time.
- Payroll Processing:
Accurately and efficiently process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Ensure timely submission of payroll to ensure employees are paid on time.
Verify timekeeping data and address any discrepancies.
Prepare and process payment to employees. - Record keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.
Prepare and submit all necessary payroll tax reports and filings to federal, state, and local authorities.
Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accuracy.
Generate and analyze payroll reports for our clients. - Clients Relations:
Address clients inquiries and concerns regarding payroll matters.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality of clients payroll information. - Additional Tasks:
Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Training and support clients when necessary.
Being revenue generation oriented
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum: HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in payroll process
Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations
Software Proficiency: Proficient in payroll software (e.g Sage Pastel Payroll, Sage 300 People, Seamless Payroll etc).
ICAN/ CIPM and any other related certification will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 1-2 years of payroll processing experience
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g., Sage Pastel Payroll, Sage 300 People, Seamless Payroll)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage priorities
- ICAN, CIPM, or related certification

The site holds DEA licenses for Schedule III–V controlled substances and functions as an in‑house oral solid development, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution center; the company holds ANDAs for multiple products and maintains a pipeline of additional candidates.
