  • Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness; ensure payroll processes meet statutory, tax, and GDPR requirements globally.

  • Team & Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, Finance, and Legal to support cross-functional initiatives such as benefits alignment, accounting reconciliations, and policy changes.

  • Employee Experience: Provide clear communication and support to employees on payroll and compensation-related questions.

  • Change & Project Management: Lead payroll-related projects, such as new country rollouts, vendor transitions, and system enhancements.

  • Metrics & Reporting: Define and monitor payroll KPIs (accuracy, timeliness, SLA compliance, audit results) and deliver insights to leadership.

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive payroll management experience, including leadership of multi-country/global payroll operations.

  • Strong knowledge of global payroll practices, compliance requirements, and vendor management.

  • Demonstrated success in building scalable payroll processes within a GBS or shared services environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday (HCM) and global payroll platforms (e.g., CloudPay).

  • Deep understanding of payroll accounting, audit controls, and statutory reporting.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills; able to balance operational detail with strategic vision.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret compensation and payroll data, create reports, and provide insights.
