Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll issues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of company-wide weekly payroll in SAP and mileage pay in the legacy AS400 system
- Accurately enter employee master file data into the payroll system including: taxes, deductions, garnishments, and other pay information
- Process direct deposit and negotiable checks in an accurate and precise manner
- Provide timely and helpful customer service for employees concerning payroll related issues in assigned region/service area
- Complete forms request by or for employees such as wage summaries, employment verifications, etc.
- Reconcile assigned payroll accounts
Job Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Experience processing large multi-state payroll in ERP (in house) payroll environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive data regarding employee wages confidentially
- SAP experience preferred
