We are looking for an experienced and strategic Payroll Operations Manager to lead our payroll services for dedicated countries. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll in full compliance with legal regulations. You will lead a dedicated team, drive process improvements and automation within the payroll scope, contributing to our world-class Service & Finance function.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead and coordinate a team of payroll associates, including goal setting, task execution, and performance management.
Collaborate with an external payroll service providers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including salary payments, data validation, time and attendance processing.
Act as a subject matter expert in labor law and compensation-related matters, providing support to management.
Participate in internal and external audits, as well as prepare reports and analyses for business needs.
Continuously review and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency and ensure accurate payroll execution.
Manage budgets and monitor assigned cost centers.
Drive payroll transformation initiatives, focusing on process automation and standardization.
What are we looking for?
A university degree is preferred; strong payroll knowledge is essential.
3–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the SSC/BPO industry.
Proven experience in project management and people leadership.
Experience in payroll implementation projects and operational delivery.
Fluency in English and Polish is required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
Strong customer orientation and commitment to meeting stakeholder expectations.
High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different organizational levels.
Understanding of Lean/KAIZEN principles with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience in payroll process transformation would be considered an asset.
