We are looking for a Payroll Manager to be responsible for all day-to-day payroll functions of the company. The ideal candidate managing payroll processes ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and providing expert consultation on US and India Payroll. This role requires to work from office and focuses on HR master data administration, tax processing and management reporting, and integration with Workday PSA (Professional Services Automation).

This role will partner closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and the Director of Finance to develop processes, procedures and to create efficiencies where possible as we look to scale the business in the US and India. This role will have the opportunity to create and drive standards across the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery for all employees.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to payroll and benefits administration.

  • Provide expert consultation on US and India Payroll processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve payroll processing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Coordinate with tax authorities to ensure accurate and timely tax processing and reporting.

  • Prepare and present management reports on payroll and benefits administration to senior management.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll data and employee information.

  • Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary changes in processes.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure payroll systems are functioning effectively and efficiently.

  • Support the implementation of new payroll systems or updates to existing systems.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate US and India Payroll.

  • Possess strong experience in US and India Payroll with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

  • Demonstrate expertise in HR Master data administration and its impact on payroll processing.

  • Have a solid understanding of statutory regulatory and management reporting requirements.

  • Exhibit proficiency in tax processing and related regulatory compliance.

  • Show strong analytical skills to monitor and improve payroll processes.

  • Display excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required; PowerPoint is a plus.

  • Experience with Workday (especially Workday PSA and Financials) is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively.
