Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and contribute to the processing, accounting, and reconciling US Salary payroll, both hourly and salary
- Oversee transfer of payroll data to payroll provider, ensuring accuracy
- Primary point of contact to outside payroll provider
- W2 Generation and Review
- Primary point of contact for payroll related issues for internal customers
- Coordinate efforts between Culture & Engagement and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Provide audit information for payroll related activities
- Understanding and continuing education of payroll taxes
- Various ad hoc activities including award processing, stock vesting, extraction of past payroll data for other departments, etc.
- Supervision of 1 payroll associate
- Other payroll activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a business-related field and 7 plus years payroll experience
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Workday experience preferred
- The ability to influence key stakeholders on business processes and influence change where applicable.
- Must be proficient at Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work independently with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
