Job Description:
We're looking for a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations, drive compliance, and develop a high-performing team.
You'll ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery while partnering with HR, Finance and Operations to continuously improve our payroll processes.
What You'll Be DoingLead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple pay frequencies and employment types.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, taxation and superannuation requirements.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing payroll team.
Manage payroll controls, audits, reporting and risk mitigation activities.
Partner with key stakeholders to resolve complex payroll matters and drive operational excellence.
Lead payroll system enhancements, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Significant experience leading large, complex payroll functions.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing payroll audits, reporting and governance frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise payroll and workforce management systems.
Highly regarded: Experience in retail payroll and exposure to Workday, Micropay and UKG.
