Job Title: Payroll Lead
Location: Metropolitan Washington DC Area
Overview:
OBAN Corporation is seeking a Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant responsible for translating business needs into end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud configurations with a primary focus on payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll cycle execution, and facilitate integration with time, labor, absence management, and benefits administration to support accurate cost allocation and disbursement.
- Produce high-quality functional deliverables (configuration workbooks, fit/gap documentation, payroll costing, and elements set up, retroactive processing documentation, and System Integration Testing (SIT) / User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support).
- Provide ongoing production support including issue triage, root-cause analysis, and payroll balance corrections.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of HCM functional experience with multiple Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and/or production support engagements.
- Deep hands-on configuration experience in global payroll, including elements, balances, fast formulas, payroll definitions, and costing setup.
- Strong solution design and end-to-end traceability across key design decisions (KDDs), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and scenario-based test coverage.
- Hands-on defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution support through SIT, UAT, and steady-state production support.
- Working knowledge of integrations with time and labor, absence management, and benefits (e.g., time-to-payroll, absence-to-payroll, benefits-to-payroll).
- Experience with payroll costing, general ledger integration, and retroactive pay processing
- Familiarity with reporting/analytics (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) / BI Publisher).
- Experience leading small hybrid-delivery functional teams with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong consulting skills and government contracting experience.
- Ability to support delivery in a regulated, client-facing environment.
- Travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications:
- Oracle Payroll Cloud 2025 Certified Implementation Professional.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check.
- U.S. Citizen.
