What You’ll Do:As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be the go-to expert for payroll support at assigned store locations. You’ll help ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, audit, and maintain bi-weekly payroll records for designated locations.
- Review weekly timecards to validate edits for paid and unpaid time (e.g., PTO, leaves of absence).
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies; communicate timely resolutions to team members and management.
- Accurately input and update new hire and termination data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Serve as a primary support contact for UKG Workforce Management, including user access, troubleshooting, reporting, and system updates.
- Provide wage verification documentation for third-party requests.
- Handle sensitive and confidential payroll data with integrity and discretion.
- 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as payroll software systems.
- Experience using UKG Workforce Management is preferred.
- Experience in a multi-location or large retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with UKG Pro (Ultipro) or similar HRIS software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
