As a Payroll Automation Trainee, you will support the People Organization Employee Services Payroll team by managing process improvement initiatives, developing automated solutions and supporting the standardization of the current payroll operation towards a more digitalized and innovated direction.
Position: Payroll Automation Trainee
Duration: Fixed term for 6 months with potential contract renewal
Location: Hungary, Budapest (Hybrid)
Education Recommendations: Active student status for at least 1 year
You will take an active part in the innovation and automation of our payroll activities by using your technical skills and creativity to make our payroll processes leaner and more effective.
You will be a valued member of a collaborative team and will carry out activities in the following areas:
- Creating automated solutions for specific payroll processes and complex issues
- Developing innovative technical solutions for better efficiency
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivering the assigned work or project
- Revising payroll controlling and reporting processes
- Identifying opportunities for automation and standardization
- Supporting digitalization and general document archiving innovation
- Delivering standard data transformation solutions and new reporting initiatives
- Creating Power BI based reporting for payroll excellence
Using wide scale of tools to apply the best solutions for arising problems (e.g. Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, VBA, SQL, Python, Dataverse etc.) as well as discovering new technical solutions for continuous improvement
- BSC in Computer Science/ Data Science / Information Technology / Business Administration
- Previous experience in implementing process automations (preferably in payroll environment)
- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment is a must (especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Experience with SQL Server, MsOffice 365 application, SAP, Oracle and Sharepoint
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent written and spoken command of English
- Proactive, precise, and quality oriented work approach
- Open to learning new concepts and techniques
