Key Responsibilities
- Assist Payroll Specialists in processing pay transactions in a timely, accurate and confidential manner.
- Input and maintenance of all pay impacting and statutory-related data in SAP
- Ensure timesheets are complete, accurate and duly approved.
- Implement and follow a formal new starter process for payroll purposes.
- Calculate leave balances and adjustments.
- Assist in the maintenance of payroll records and file all payroll related paperwork following each pay period
- Contribute to the ongoing delivery and improvement of the various payroll systems and supporting systems and services
- Promptly handle employee enquiries on payroll and other employee benefit matters.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports based upon information within the payroll system.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in a related field, with at least 1 year solid working experience in payroll processing or compensation and benefits roll in a HR back office for a multinational company.
- Experience handling Singapore payroll is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in MS Excel.
- Experience with SAP
- Must be analytical and good with details.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to cope with ambiguity and change and maintain high level of professionalism when working under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills within a multi-cultural business environment.
