Position:Payroll Analyst

Job Description:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll data integrity, providing support to employees and managers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations for Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Compliance

  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner for each pay period, following established procedures and checklists.
  • Audit payroll data inputs to ensure accuracy and make necessary corrections prior to payroll submission.
  • Review payroll reports, reconcile variances, and submit final results for approval and sign-off.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Employee Support & Communication

  • Respond to complex payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and clarification on payroll policies, procedures, and system usage.

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and update the time and attendance system for Egypt, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours, leaves, and absences.
  • Develop, update, and maintain payroll procedures and checklists to ensure consistent and efficient processes.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Accounting and Treasury teams on payroll posting, reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Prepare and deliver payroll reports, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Participate in payroll-related projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and overall efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Knowledge

  • 2-3 years of experience in Payroll, Finance, or Human Resources is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Any Accounting certificates is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.).

Language Skills

  • Fluent command of English (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, independent decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
