Job Description

●Primary Duties:

1. Responsible payroll processing in-house including managing the KPIs for payroll accuracy and timely payout to our employees

2. Driving Quality and Customer Satisfaction targets

3. Handling ongoing customer service issues related to ANZ Payroll

4. Preparation and timely submission of statutory documents & payments to relevant government authorities.

5. Maintain and manage all payroll related GL Accounts and will be responsible for reconciliation and accuracy of the accounts on a monthly basis.

6. Prepare and /or review Payroll GL related accounting entries including various accruals such as Commissions, Vacations, Payroll Labor cost etc. and work closely with the GL team to ensure postings

7. Coordinate and monitor the year-end related journal entries and ensure the postings per the year-end plans. Also review the existing year-end plan and make it more robust to ensure accurate and timely postings that result in accurate financial reporting.

8. Support management with any required ad-hoc reporting, relevant information and presentations as needed.

9. Coordinate and support payroll audit related requests from internal and external auditors as required.

10. Provide support on ensuring internal operational controls compliance for payroll and payroll accounting.

11. Archiving all supporting documents as per retention policy and ensure compliance to all audit requirements

12. Partnering with internal organizations such as Human Resource, Finance, Tax, IT, Accounting, Legal and SAP consultant to have the right process in place.

13. Escalate and discuss with Superior for important and critical issue

14. Participate in physical inventory count and fix asset sighting

15. Other duties assigned by supervisors.

Basic Requirements

-Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent

-Language: Excellent oral and written skills in English and Mandarin

-Experience: At least 2-3 years related working experience in Payroll and experience of handling Multi-countries payroll would be an added advantage for this position.

1. Proficient knowledge on Microsoft Office application

2. Prior knowledge in payroll accounting would be an added advantage

3. Experience in SAP payroll and financial modules are highly desirable.

4. The ability to multitask, independent, problem solving and work well in a shared services environment.

5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

6. Required language(s): English. Strong oral and written communication skills in English
