What You'll Be Doing
- Represent payroll operations throughout the PROPEL transformation initiative and provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes.
- Participate in design workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution reviews to support future-state payroll operations.
- Document business requirements, operational procedures, process flows, and payroll control.
- Execute and support testing activities, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and payroll parallel testing.
- Analyze payroll calculations, taxes, deductions, earnings, and integrations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and business alignment.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve system defects, testing issues, and payroll discrepancies.
- Partner with ADP, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate solutions, support integrations, and drive process improvements.
What Are We Looking For
- 5+ years of payroll operations experience in a complex, multi-state payroll environment, including payroll system implementations, conversions, or transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with ADP payroll solutions and participation in implementation, conversion, optimization, or system enhancement projects.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax, wage and hour, garnishment, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting payroll testing, reconciliation, data validation, and issue resolution activities.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Work Environment
- Hybrid office environment with regular collaboration across Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and external vendor teams.
- Fast-paced project environment requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Frequent participation in testing sessions, workshops, process reviews, and project meetings.
- Occasional travel may be required to support implementation activities, training sessions, and business initiatives.
