Job Description Summary
Service Stream is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team at AGL Loy Yang A Power Station, near Traralgon. You will deliver accurate, on-time weekly pay for our site workforce across ongoing maintenance and major outages.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing high-volume weekly pay runs accurately and on time
- Maintaining EA and Award data, and implementing changes from new or amended agreements
- Keeping employee master file records accurate and up to date
- Checking pay run variance reports and processing terminations
- Providing post-pay reporting to site, finance and other teams
- Resolving escalated payroll queries with supervisors, finance and HR
- Reviewing and improving payroll processes to reduce manual effort
About You
- 3+ years’ experience processing weekly pay runs in an industrial or construction environment
- Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
- Experience with payroll tax and superannuation processing (desirable)
- High attention to detail, and able to meet fixed deadlines under pressure
- Clear, confident communicator with good customer service skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Qualifications in business, finance or accounting highly regarded
