Job Context
Many businesses in our customers' world run on tight profit margins — around 5% on average. We've built integrated Payment solutions to change that. We're not asking you to squeeze more money from customers — we're asking you to help them accelerate cash flow and become more profitable than they've ever been. The Mission
As an Account Executive, Fintech, you drive adoption of Simpro Group's payment solutions across our customer base. Your job is to drive customer adoption, influence the product road map, and shape processes that will scale Payment customer activation goals.
You'll also self-generate a portion of your pipeline through targeted outbound into existing accounts. No cold outreach into net-new logos — just deeper penetration into accounts that already know and trust us.
What You’ll Do
Carry and crush a defined adoption quota tied directly to payment activation
Identify customer pain points, articulate key benefits, and upsell them to our payment solutions
Execute direct outreach to prospective customers, build deep trust, and drive payment adoption
Support the onboarding process to guarantee a smooth transition and rapid time-to-value for the customer
Be the Payment Authority
Connect our payment solutions directly to each customer's business — translating financial technology into the numbers they care about most: cash flow and profit
Serve as the internal and external champion for payment solutions, embedding sales-centric rigor to maximize customer adoption
Unearth payment opportunities, articulate the benefits, and demonstrate how our financial solutions integrate into the customer's existing workflows
Build and maintain deep mastery across our fintech portfolio — including new financial capabilities and acquisitions the day they land
Shape the Product & Scale the Business
Work with leadership to bring frontline customer insights back to the team, helping guide product development and improve operational processes
Contribute directly to the strategy and execution required to expand our broader financial services business
Rigorously track and report on pipeline health and activity performance to ensure predictable growth
This job description is not an exhaustive list of duties and may be modified at the discretion of Simpro Group.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of Fintech or SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of driving adoption and closing complex deals
Deep payment processing expertise, with demonstrable knowledge of local market needs and specialized payment requirements
Mastery of pipeline management & negotiation, with the skill to execute tight sales cycles both externally with customers and internally across stakeholders
Self-driven, proactive sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to create and capture opportunities
Agile mindset and continuous improvement, capable of delivering incremental value and adapting quickly as business needs evolve
Cross-functional alignment engine, with a proven ability to work seamlessly across diverse teams and drive unified execution
Confident, executive-level communicator with top-tier written and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leaders internally and externally
Expert organizational navigator who feels at home influencing complex organizations to secure multi-stakeholder buy-in
Highly organized executor who can juggle multiple moving parts, projects, and deals in a rapid-growth setting without missing a beat
