Position Title: Lockbox Processor
Reports To: Lockbox Supervisor
Department: Deposit Operations
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose:
The Lockbox Processor is responsible for the processing and reporting of receivables for commercial/municipal Lockbox clients and Bank customer internal loan payments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Degree of Supervision Received: Moderate to High

Essential Functions:
- Processes and keys Lockbox client receivables deposits and customer internal loan payments utilizing Lockbox software.
- Prepares remittance and correspondence related to processed receivables and distributes to Lockbox clients daily.
- Generates and reviews monthly reports. Escalate any discrepancies to the Senior Lockbox Processor
- Demonstrates the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank Experience in every interaction with internal and external customers and associates. Incorporates the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications – Education and Prior Experience:
Required:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a computer/keyboard
Preferred:
- Education: Associates degree
- Prior Experience: 1+ years of data entry or customer service experience
Competencies:
- Possess strong keying skills with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ability to take initiative in problem solving and make practical decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a high level of attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions/procedures to ensure accuracy
- Intermediate level with all Microsoft Office applications including the ability to learn new and existing banking software
- Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner
- Dependable in meeting attendance requirements and schedules established for the department
Physical Requirements:
- Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to regularly stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Extensive computer usage is required.
