SOFTSWISS is hiring a Payment Operations Specialist to join our Finance Team. We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive professional to oversee treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity, cost efficiency, and strong banking partnerships that support the company’s global growth.
Purpose of the role:You will manage daily treasury operations and liquidity to ensure smooth payment flows, cost efficiency, and financial stability across the business. Your work will drive optimal cash allocation, reduce banking expenses, and strengthen relationships with financial partners, directly supporting SOFTSWISS’s growth and operational resilience.
Key responsibilities:Oversee the full payment cycle: coordinate with request initiators, Legal, and Finance teams, execute payments, verify their success, and liaise with banks
Daily 7–14 day liquidity forecasting, account balancing (1C, Tableau, merchant reports), and routing payments based on limits and currency
Monitoring bank fees and selecting the most cost-effective banks to minimize commissions
Strict verification of invoices against internal policies and system details
Investigation of delays/blocks and Root Cause Analysis
Daily downloading and processing of bank statements
Reconciling balances (1C, Tableau, merchant reports) to ensure data is updated by the start of the business day
Process Improvement: maintaining knowledge bases (Confluence), testing new features, and automating routine tasks (Excel macros, smart tables, No-code tools)
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy with data under tight deadlines
Ability to handle high-volume transactions while strictly following regulations
2+ years in Treasury, Banking, or FinTech/iGaming (high-volume environments)
Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Hands-on experience with 1C (or similar accounting systems), familiarity with Tableau or similar reporting tools, and advanced Excel user
Strong analytical skills and ability to optimise financial processes
Effective communication and coordination skills in cross-functional teams
Fluent in English and Russian languages
