As a USD Payments Operations Specialist in Payments Operations, you process USD payments end to end while ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and strong controls. You monitor exceptions, investigate issues, and provide clear updates to internal and external stakeholders. You follow documented procedures and comply with applicable regulations while identifying suspicious activity and escalating concerns appropriately. You support audits by maintaining required documentation and evidence. You contribute to process improvements and participate in cross-training to support workflow coverage.
Job responsibilities- Process USD payments end to end, including preparation, verification, release, and completion checks.
- Ensure payments are executed accurately and within required timelines, following documented procedures.
- Apply controls and compliance requirements consistently and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Investigate payment exceptions and resolve breaks through analysis, follow-up, and stakeholder coordination.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries with clear, timely updates and accurate information.
- Monitor activity for potential fraud indicators and report suspicious activity through appropriate channels.
- Maintain documentation and evidence to support audits, reviews, and operational reporting needs.
- Support production coverage through cross-training and rotation across team functions.
- Perform backup and additional production tasks as needed to maintain service continuity.

- Two years of experience in banking or financial services operations.
- Experience in USD payments processing and payment investigations, including exception handling.
- Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging and international payment processing concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate breaks and identify root cause.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide clear status updates.
