About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pavement Engineer – Site Supervisor to join the Construction Supervision Consultant team for a major Highway Road Project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all pavement-related construction activities, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and international best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in pavement engineering or materials science or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of cumulative experience in Civil Engineering with expertise in Highway Road pavements and thereof a minimum of 10 (ten) years related to the supervision of pavements construction for Highway roads or large road projects.
- Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 (two) Highway Road projects of similar nature.
- Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years.
- Fluency in written and spoken form of English is mandatory.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the pavement, from material selection to quality control and performance monitoring, in conformance with the DB Contract, the technical specifications and the approved detailed design.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in pavement engineering, materials science, or equivalent
- At least 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience
- At least 10 years of experience supervising pavement construction for highway roads or large road projects
- Experience serving in a similar capacity on at least two comparable highway road projects
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Full-time PMC employment for at least two years
