We are now looking for a Patent Attorney who is seeking an opportunity to work in a global and innovative setting! We offer you a challenging job in a global company with leading international brands. The position will be specifically supporting our Health & Medical and Continence Care area.
The IP Department is based in Sweden, Germany, Mexico, China, The Netherlands, UK and France. You will report to the IP Director Health and Medical.

The Patent Attorney is responsible for managing a global patent portfolio including prosecution and oppositions. The Patent Attorney advices on the use of patents to support the commercial objectives of the business. Proactively supports projects to identify valuable IP protection and manage risks.
Main TasksProactively build and manage the patent portfolio in a competitive and cost-effective way.
Proactively support innovation projects to identify value-adding IP protection and manage risks.
Conduct FTO investigations to secure launches
Handle opposition work
Analyze competitive activities in relevant technology areas and propose actions.
Key Competencies
A master’s degree preferably in physics, chemistry or equivalent
Extensive experience working as a patent attorney, in-house or private practice
Qualified European Patent Attorney or corresponding national qualification is a strong advantage
Excellent language skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of other languages is a merit
Curious and interested in understanding our innovations and business strategy
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
The ability to work independently and to take own initiatives
A team player with strong interpersonal and networking skills, used to working in a multicultural environment
Agility to work in a fast-paced business environment
Open for new ways of working and with a drive to continuously improve ways of working
Professional approach, well organized, competent to handle several projects simultaneously
