We're looking for an experienced Partnership & Business Development Manager to join our Queensland Workplace Partnerships team.
Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic relationship management, business development and stakeholder engagement in a role that delivers meaningful impact. You'll work with some of Queensland's largest employers, industry groups, associations and unions, helping to grow and strengthen AustralianSuper's presence across the market.
You'll be responsible for managing an established portfolio of strategic partnerships while developing and converting new opportunities that support sustainable member growth. Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, understand stakeholder needs, identify opportunities and influence outcomes at senior levels.
In this role, you'll:
- Manage and grow strategic employer and union partnerships across Queensland.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, decision-makers and key influencers.
- Identify, develop and convert new business and partnership opportunities.
- Develop and execute partnership growth strategies and business development plans.
- Protect and strengthen AustralianSuper's position within key organisations and workplace arrangements.
- Work across the Fund to advocate for stakeholders and improve member outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, education and engagement experiences.
- Contribute to sustainable member growth aligned with the Fund's long-term strategy.
What you need:
- You'll be a commercially minded relationship manager with a proven ability to influence, negotiate and deliver results through partnerships.
- A strong understanding of Queensland's industrial relations & union landscape.
- Significant experience in relationship management, business development or strategic partnerships.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior executives and union representatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation capabilities.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Experience within financial services, superannuation or a related industry is highly regarded.
- A passion for building trusted partnerships and creating long-term value.
