As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated Partnerships Associate to help grow our network and establish valuable partnerships within Canada.

Role Overview:

As a Partnerships Associate, you’ll play a vital role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing new business partnerships to drive revenue and expand Oppizi’s presence in Canada. Working closely with the local and global teams, you’ll be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, presenting our products, and managing the lead pipeline. This role combines outreach, relationship management, and strategic partnership building, making it an excellent fit for someone passionate about business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Launch of the Insert marketing business in Canada

    • Identify and engage with procurement hubs of newspapers, Ecommerce entities, among others.
    • Continually broaden our procurement vendor database.
    • Establish standardized SLAs with these partner entities.
    • Analyze and communicate the logistical nuances of each vendor, including delivery timelines, procedures, insert capacity, and their audience demographics.
    • Collaborate with the data team to devise a model that allows Oppizi to pilot this new business initiative. Once the venture is affirmed, assist the Product team in understanding the core elements of this new business, ensuring software development is tailored to client needs.

Lead Generation & Outreach:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and companies that align with Oppizi’s goals.
    • Build and manage a pipeline of new leads through tools like Upleads, Clay, and HubSpot.
    • Perform cold outreach and create effective lead sequences to initiate contact with potential partners.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

    • Conduct product demos to showcase the value of Oppizi’s solutions to decision-makers.
    • Develop tailored presentations and pitches for prospective partners, focusing on their specific needs and opportunities for collaboration.
    • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with partners, providing ongoing support and identifying growth opportunities.

Collaboration & Strategy:

    • Work alongside the marketing, product, and regional management teams to align partnership initiatives with company goals.
    • Share market insights and feedback from partners to help guide product improvements and strategic adjustments.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

    • Track and monitor lead activity using CRM tools like HubSpot, ensuring accurate records and smooth pipeline management.
    • Meet monthly KPIs, including 250 outbound calls and 10 meetings with prospective partners.
    • Report regularly on pipeline progress, market insights, and partnership performance to country managers.
Requirements
Hard Skills:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in partnerships, business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within tech, advertising, or software industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and lead-generation platforms (e.g., Upleads, Clay).
  • Presentation Skills: Experience conducting product demos, presentations, and pitching to senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Abilities: Capable of researching market trends and identifying potential partnership opportunities.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients at all levels.
  • Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with partners.
  • Resilience: Able to handle rejection and maintain motivation, adapting outreach strategies as needed.
