PitchBook’s Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for supporting existing relationships with PitchBook’s partners and operational tracking for our growing partnerships business. Partnerships are designed to extend PitchBook’s reach and improve the workflows of our clients and include data feed and API licenses and product integrations. Furthermore, the Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for administering certain named partners’ licensing of PitchBook Platform, Data Feed, API, etc. for internal use. This role requires someone with strong customer-facing skills, a proactive approach to relationship management, ability to weigh partner requests against PitchBook strategy, tracking of partnership reporting metrics, and an enthusiasm for building relationships within a cross-functional team environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Act as primary point of contact for ongoing partnership relationships via in-person meetings, phone, and/or email
- Identify growth opportunities to expand use of PitchBook content to end clients of each relevant partner
- Work collaboratively with Partnerships and Direct Data leaders to strategize on partner account retention and growth opportunities
- Help inform Sales and CS of partnership relationships and field questions as they relate to PitchBook data access through partners
- Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with quarterly business reviews and continual product education
- Think strategically about each partner, their end customer, and competitive relationship to PitchBook to maximize the opportunity and minimize risk
- Have an appreciation for the Private Equity/Venture Capital/Allocator marketplace and the ability to learn, comprehend, and demonstrate why and how each of our client types engages with our product and our data
- Work with Direct Data engineering team to ensure delivery and/or integration of optimal data sets and collect partner feedback and trends to identify new data sets to meet partner needs
- Ensure all partnership opportunities are tracked appropriately in Salesforce
- Define requirements for reports and dashboards to benchmark partnership metrics and work with Sales Operations to deliver
- Work with Marketing team to create sales enablement materials for Sales and CS teams, partner marketing materials, and other partnership marketing support
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of sales or business development experience
- 3 years of experience working with Investment Banking, PE, VC, and/or Limited Partner clients in a SaaS/data licensing function
- Familiarity with partnership/alliance licensing and go to market structures or eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $105,000
- Annual on target variable commission of fully ramped representative meeting expectations: $70,000
- PitchBook currently has no cap on commission and commission is determined by individual performance
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
