About the Team

Busuu’s Partnerships team is one of the fastest-growing areas of the business, playing a key role in the company’s expansion strategy.

The team has been nominated Best Team for performance and impact in two of the last three years, reflecting both strong commercial results and cross-functional collaboration.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team at an exciting stage of scale, work with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to strategic discussion early in your journey, and at the same time, the team structure offers significant flexibility and room for growth.

What does a Partnership Executive do at Busuu?

This role combines Partner Success, Operations, and junior account management, acting as the operational backbone of the Partnerships function.

You will ensure smooth day-to-day partner management while enabling senior team members to focus on commercial growth and strategic initiatives. Over time, you will have the opportunity to manage smaller partnership accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for partner operational requests, coordinating internally with Product, Marketing, Tech, and Finance

  • Support onboarding and ongoing execution of partnerships

  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports and insights

  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives

  • Prepare business reviews and presentations for partners

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis

  • Over time, independently manage smaller partners, driving retention and incremental growth

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 1+ years of experience in Business Operations, Customer Success, Account Management, or similar roles.

  • Experience in SaaS, digital products, mobile, or telco environments (VAS) is a plus

  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills

  • Analytical mindset with solid Excel / Google Sheets skills

  • Ability to translate operational or technical topics into clear business language

  • Proactive, solution-oriented attitude

  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese and/or French is a plus

What You Can Expect from Us

While you are requested to bring a solid foundation of hard and soft skills from day one, we are equally committed to offering clear growth opportunities. In this role, you will progressively expand your expertise in account management, commercial model structuring, and executive-level presentation and negotiation, while developing a clear understanding of business planning, forecasting, monetisation frameworks, and the broader digital landscape.

At Busuu we want to ensure that you have access to some great benefits:

  • You get 2 free lunches per week at our office that you can choose out of a wide selection of restaurants in the area

  • There is a dedicated training budget to ensure our employees can continuously grow and progress in their careers

  • We like to support our teams with their work-life balance so we offer flexible working hours and a hybrid model of working

  • We offer enhanced maternity and paternity leave (depending on location)

  • Staying connected as a team is very important to us, so we have lots of social activities for you to join such as team lunches, Thursday socials, quarterly team, and company events

What happens next

We aim to have a simple and speedy hiring process and we want to make sure that we are right for you as much as the other way around.

  • CV application review - We will review it as quickly as possible

  • Let’s chat - Quick chat with our team about your experience and the role

  • Interview - With the Hiring Manager

  • Case Study - At home case study to show off your skills

If you like the sound of that, join us. We'd love to hear what you have to say.
