You will be working as the technical expert for SAP and other Non-SAP finance systems and lead the implementation of various finance applications. This role includes working closely with the Process experts and the Enterprise architects to understand the way various applications work, lead projects on implementation of new tools/applications and co-ordinates with Platform Team members (e.g., Platform Owner) on requirements for product delivery. The role will contribute in building the transformation roadmap for the Finance function and own implementation of the same. This may also include people management responsibilities.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • Have deep technical hands on experience of S4 Hana application Finance modules.
  • Have technical experience with key finance solutions such as Blackline, GLSU including connectivity to SAP S4 and ECC. Development and/or configuration of relevant technologies and architectural components, e.g., user interfaces, middleware, databases.
  • Support Director, R2R in future-state road mapping activities and actively contribute to technical innovation activities within Finance.
  • Provide functional SME expertise in a project team to execute and support project lifecycle including blueprint, build, integration testing and implementation with specific list of Finance related activities: Own delivery of high-quality and secure code, ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards.
  • Ensure support of financial reporting and close activities for any technical issues. Works with the Service Desk to resolve product incidents, problems, or queries which they cannot resolve in isolation, Lead incidents resolution or technical enquiries.
  • Responsible to implement new solutions as per the architecture design aligned with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects, ensuring that the new solution is cost optimized and easy to maintain.
  • Support projects leveraging an external partner strategy, Consults selected vendors / suppliers involved in the delivery of development, testing, and support services.
  • Manage contracts for applications in scope, monitors licenses utilization.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting including understanding of SAP S4 and other financial reporting systems like Blackline and GLSU. Expertise in managing implementation of Finance applications. Experienced in full stack engineering, automated deployment, and continuous integration.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and an understanding of our business and finance beyond accounting and external reporting scope.
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify strategic opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.
