About the Role
The Partnership and Compliance Lead - Senior Officer will contribute to expanding our client’s partnership portfolio, strengthening donor engagement, managing compliance systems, and supporting the organization’s broader strategic and programmatic goals. The role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven, and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in partnership development, grant management, and organizational compliance within the nonprofit or development sector.
Job description
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, donors, nonprofits, and corporate organizations to support organizational goals and funding opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, managing partner relationships, agreements, and collaborative engagements.
- Oversee organizational compliance by developing policies, conducting audits and risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to donor regulations and industry standards.
- Support grant acquisition and donor management processes, including proposal development, reporting, documentation, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor project deliverables, evaluate partnership impact, and document organizational achievements and success stories.
- Provide staff training and technical support on partnership management and compliance while identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other related tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications or certifications in compliance, partnerships, grant, or project management are an added advantage.
- 4–7 years of experience in partnership management, donor relations, compliance, grant management, or stakeholder engagement within nonprofit, development, or social impact organizations.
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance, organizational governance, risk management, grant proposal development, donor reporting, and institutional partnership management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, with high attention to detail, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to mission-driven work.
