About Glean:
Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. What began as the industry’s most advanced enterprise search has evolved into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem, powering intelligent Search, an AI Assistant, and scalable AI agents on one secure, open platform. With over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, and robust APIs, Glean gives organizations the infrastructure to govern, scale, and customize AI across their entire business - without vendor lock-in or costly implementation cycles.
At its core, Glean is redefining how enterprises find, use, and act on knowledge. Its Enterprise Graph and Personal Knowledge Graph map the relationships between people, content, and activity, delivering deeply personalized, context-aware responses for every employee. This foundation powers Glean’s agentic capabilities - AI agents that automate real work across teams by accessing the industry’s broadest range of data: enterprise and world, structured and unstructured, historical and real-time. The result: measurable business impact through faster onboarding, hours of productivity gained each week, and smarter, safer decisions at every level.
Recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies (Top 10, 2025), by CNBC’s Disruptor 50, Bloomberg’s AI Startups to Watch (2026), Forbes AI 50, and Gartner’s Tech Innovators in Agentic AI, Glean continues to accelerate its global impact. With customers across 50+ industries and 1,000+ employees in more than 25 countries, we’re helping the world’s largest organizations make every employee AI-fluent, and turning the superintelligent enterprise from concept into reality.
If you’re excited to shape how the world works, you’ll help build systems used daily across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, Zendesk, GitHub, and many more - deeply embedded where people get things done. You’ll ship agentic capabilities on an open, extensible stack, with the craft and care required for enterprise trust, as we bring Work AI to every employee, in every company.
About the Role:
At Glean, partners are force multipliers. As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be a partner-facing technical expert responsible for helping strategic partners across VARs, GSIs, SIs, Cloud Partners, and ISVs, successfully design, deploy, scale, and operationalize Glean across their customer base. This role is designed for someone comfortable leading hands-on workshops and enablement sessions, developing technical solutions, and consulting on complex partner-led services. You will work directly with partner solution architects, delivery teams, product teams, and partner managers to help them build the skills, assets, offerings, and confidence required to establish a durable Glean services practice. Rather than focusing on isolated enablements or individual deals, you will enable partners to support many customers at scale. From that foundation, you will guide partners in delivering post-sales services and production-ready Glean solutions.
You will:
- Own the technical success of partners across onboarding, deep technical enablement, early production deployments, and scaled delivery motions.
- Lead hands-on technical trainings, deep dives, workshops, and co-build sessions for partner engineers, architects, consultants, and delivery teams.
- Help partners create repeatable service offerings, implementation packages, and reference architectures on top of Glean.
- Develop partner technical maturity over time so their teams can independently architect, implement, troubleshoot, and support Glean in production.
- Identify gaps in partner capability and work with Partner Managers, Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to close them through programs, code, content, or product changes.
- Act as Glean’s technical representative within partner organizations, building strong relationships with partner technical leaders and helping them succeed with shared customers.
- Provide technical support and expertise for partner-led services and solutions, consulting when complexity is highest, especially around agent development, custom connectors, custom integrations, and platform extensibility best practices.
- Co-build reusable demos and workshops for partner-led solutions involving Glean Agents, Actions, APIs, Web SDK / embedded experiences, custom connectors, and broader extensibility patterns.
- Build prototypes, reference implementations, samples repos, services patterns, and reusable content that help partners move from concept to working deployment faster.
- Bring a strong bias toward execution and technical craftsmanship: this role should produce working outcomes, not just slideware or strategy recommendations.
- Capture field learnings from partner deployments and translate them into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
- Codify winning patterns into reusable assets such as implementation guides, architecture blueprints, code samples, workshops, and troubleshooting playbooks.
- Help define the next generation of partner competencies and services motions.
- Scale the function by turning bespoke field work into repeatable partner-facing and internal best practices.
About you:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as: partner engineer, forward-deployed engineer, solutions architect, solutions engineer, consulting/professional services, or other related technical role.
- Experience building or deploying AI / LLM / agent-based systems in production.
- Experience writing, debugging, integrating, and deploying production software systems using APIs, SDKs, auth patterns, and cloud services.
- Strong engineering fundamentals plus hands-on coding experience in Python and at least one of TypeScript / JavaScript / Java.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, with practical experience on at least one major provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Proven ability to lead technical workshops, deep dives, or hands-on enablement that results in durable partner capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineering teams to executives.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and broad context-switching across technical and non-technical problems.
- Willingness to travel 25% - 50%.
Preferred
- 8+ years in a technical role.
- Experience working with VARs, GSIs, SIs, Cloud Partners, ISVs, or partner delivery organizations.
- Experience with custom data source connectors, indexing pipelines, embedded experiences, enterprise search / retrieval, knowledge systems, or workflow automation.
- Experience creating reusable technical assets such as tutorials, guides, workshops, code labs, reference architectures, and implementation playbooks.
- Experience shaping roadmap or packaging decisions from partner or customer deployment feedback.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment where you’ve shaped new partner motions, integrations, or GTM plays.
Success in this role
- Partners can independently deliver production-grade Glean services and solutions in addition to technical demos and pre-sales support.
- Partners develop a visible Glean technical practice with trained engineers, repeatable offerings, reference architectures, and delivery confidence.
- There is a growing catalog of reusable accelerators, code artifacts, workshops, solution packages, and implementation guides that make partner-led delivery faster and more consistent.
- Partner-led deployments see faster time to value because hard technical blockers are solved in pre-sales or early post-sales and with more rigor.
- Glean’s Product and Engineering teams receive high-signal feedback from real partner deployments that improve platform readiness and capability.
