Responsibilities
As a Partner Solution Architect (PSA) - Security, you will serve as the deep technical subject matter expert for assigned strategic partners and own the partner technical strategy for the Microsoft Security solution area. Your responsibilities include:
Partner Security Solution Development & Innovation
- Lead the development and activation of new security solutions and managed security services built on Microsoft Security technologies.
- Guide partners in designing scalable, secure, and differentiated offerings that address evolving cyber threats and customer security requirements.
Technical Leadership & Architecture Guidance
- Conduct security architecture reviews, workshops, and technical design sessions with partners.
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices for identity security, threat protection, cloud security, data security, governance, and compliance.
Security Transformation & Sales Acceleration
- Support strategic customer opportunities by helping partners position and architect Microsoft Security solutions.
- Resolve complex technical blockers and contribute to partner-led transformational security engagements that drive customer adoption and consumption.
Partner Capability Development
- Deliver technical training, security bootcamps, and innovation workshops to increase partner technical expertise and delivery capabilities.
- Enable partners to develop repeatable deployment methodologies and operational best practices.
Strategic Partnership & Executive Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with partner executives, security leaders, and technical decision makers.
- Influence partner technology roadmaps and drive alignment with Microsoft Security priorities and go-to-market strategies.
Security Practice Growth
- Help partners strengthen their security consulting and managed security practices.
- Guide partners in adopting modern Security Operations Center (SOC) models, incident response frameworks, and Zero Trust security architectures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies, cybersecurity, solution architecture, consulting, or related technical roles; OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, solution architecture, technical consulting, or partner-facing technical roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Experience conducting architecture workshops, proof of concepts, technical assessments, and security solution design engagements.
- Knowledge of security governance, identity management, risk management, compliance, data protection, and incident response best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Experience working with partners, systems integrators, managed security service providers, or enterprise customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Security solutions, including:
- Microsoft Defender XDR
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Entra
- Microsoft Purview
- Microsoft Intune
- Azure Security Services
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SC-100, SC-200, AZ-500, or equivalent.
- Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) modernization and managed security services.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud security transformation projects.
- Knowledge of AI-driven security operations, security automation, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
- Experience working across regional or global partner ecosystems.
