About the team 

The Partner Management team’s mission is to guide our content partners to imagine, develop, and publish best in class video apps and experiences. As the primary point of contact for platform, product, and technical topics, we partner closely with content publishers/streaming services, third-party developers, and cross-functional teams within Roku, including Content Distribution, Partner Growth, Partner Initiatives, Payments, Advertising, Product, and Engineering. In addition to facilitating onboarding and managing app launches across the world, we help partners build intuitive experiences that delight customers while ensuring compliance to Roku’s platform and business requirements. 

About the Role

The Partner Engagement Associate will act as a key liaison between content partners and Roku. This role requires strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of product development, technical troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
You will work closely with content partners to optimize app integration and operational efficiency on Roku’s platform, focusing on technical onboarding, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Internally, you’ll create and maintain knowledge base articles and other resources, while managing cross-functional projects to ensure smooth execution and clear communication with stakeholders. Your ability to navigate internal processes and provide actionable updates will be key to driving success.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $103,000 base salary. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

This position is based in Austin, TX and will be in office Monday - Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist with post-deal relationships and manage day-to-day technical operations for a portfolio of streaming platform partners and vendors (primarily supporting LATAM/EMEA regions).
  • Collaborate with external partners, including teams in Product, Engineering, Commerce, and Release Management, as well as internal teams such as Content Distribution, Partner Engineering, Developer Relations, Product, and Partner Growth + Marketing to drive technical engagements, manage partner app onboarding, and support the integration of new platform initiatives and features.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and other key materials for the team’s use.
  • Guide internal team projects to completion with moderate oversight, keeping stakeholders informed and identifying opportunities for process improvements along the way.
  • Develop technical expertise in Roku products and features to address partner inquiries, and collaborate with internal product and technology experts to resolve complex technical challenges and blocking issues.
  • Participate in trouble-shooting and investigate root causes for technical quality issues along with engineers and product managers, recommending corrective and preventive actions
  • Serve as the on-call escalation point of contact for any tentpole events hosted by Tier 1 partners in the region, with the responsibility of assessing, triaging, and prioritizing incidents quickly to determine severity, impact, while coordinating required cross-functional responses
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while delivering an exceptional partner experience, acting as a Roku champion in the market.
We're excited if you have 
  • Must be fluent in Spanish (Portuguese a plus))
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing projects, including tasks such as timeline creation, stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and tracking progress/status.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, APIs, and the distinction between front-end and back-end development. Experience with video delivery solutions, payment systems, DRM, and digital ad insertion is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA (DevOps), Airtable (Project Management), and Zendesk (Ticketing Solutions) is preferred.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and provide relevant context.
