The role / impact
This role centres on guiding, coaching, and mentoring a team of Partner Consultants to deliver outstanding partner experiences and exceptional technical go-to-market support for our sales division. You will assume responsibility for the successful growth and development of your team, creating tactical plans to ignite and develop our accounting and bookkeeping partners. Your efforts will directly influence how our community adopts Xero practice tools, ensuring small businesses operate with greater efficiency every day.
By driving an engaging, high-performance culture, you will motivate your team to meet national agreed sales targets and key performance metrics. You will serve as an escalation point for key partners, continually refining systems and procedures to foster seamless interactions across business functions. Your leadership will bridge the gap between front-line contributors and senior leadership, shaping strategy while supporting the personal and professional growth of each team member.
The team / how they connect
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Partner Consulting and wider go-to-market and product teams to execute national partner sales strategies. The team operates in an inspiring, supportive environment focused on continuous development, relationship building, and mutual accountability. Together, you will work to embed consulting methodologies that strengthen partner trust and drive the overall adoption of Xero ecosystem platforms.
The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on
Embedding the FuelX sales methodology across all team consulting and partner engagement activities.
Reviewing and updating internal systems and procedures to elevate the overall partner experience.
Monitoring and reporting on team activity and key territory metrics utilising Salesforce.
Ensuring team members maintain up-to-date product knowledge of Xero practice tools.

Skills Required
