The Partner Account Representative will be responsible for solution selling of IT by Design’s services to new prospects within the IT services industry and IT verticals. This role requires the ability to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users effectively. You will work with new prospects to assess their needs, present IT by Design’s offerings, and guide them through the sales process to closure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with new prospects to qualify their needs and guide them through a defined sales process.
  • Evaluate prospects' needs and demonstrate IT by Design’s full range of services, including cybersecurity solutions, professional services, managed infrastructure services, SaaS offerings, and IT talent placement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects from initial contact to closing, ensuring ongoing engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas based on additional revenue, collaborating closely with sales team members to ensure success.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, ensuring that all services and projects are successfully delivered.
  • Design, document, and maintain processes for the remote service team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage the process of implementing changes effectively, ensuring smooth transitions for both internal teams and clients. 

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a technology or IT services environment.
  • Proven experience in IT solution selling, including knowledge of cybersecurity, managed infrastructure, SaaS, and IT talent placement.
  • Strong understanding of IT applications, processes, and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephony skills, active listening, and customer-care abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a focus on results.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience with SaaS solution selling and IT services in a managed service provider (MSP) context.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking tools.
  • Experience with cross-functional team management and working in a collaborative sales environment.
